Wash Wizards ("we", "us", "our") provides residential exterior cleaning services in Delta and the Lower Mainland, British Columbia. This policy explains what personal information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. We handle personal information in line with British Columbia's Personal Information Protection Act (PIPA).

Information we collect

We only collect information you choose to give us, plus basic technical data from our website:

• Contact details: your name, email address, phone number and postal code or service address.
• Job details: the services you're interested in, a description of your property and any photos or notes you send us.
• Website and ad data: when you visit washwiz.ca or click one of our ads, Google may set cookies that record things like pages viewed, the ad you clicked and whether you submitted a form. This data doesn't identify you by name.

How we collect it

• The quote request and contact forms on washwiz.ca
• Google Ads lead forms ("Get a Free Exterior Quote") shown with our ads on Google Search and YouTube
• Phone calls, text messages, email and Instagram messages you send us

How we use your information

• Responding to your request and preparing a quote
• Scheduling, completing and following up on your service
• Sending invoices and booking confirmations
• Occasionally sending service reminders (for example, seasonal gutter cleaning). You can opt out at any time.
• Measuring how well our advertising works so we can improve it

We never sell or rent your personal information.

Who we share it with

We share information only with the service providers we need to run the business, and only for the purposes above:

• Google (Google Ads, lead forms and conversion tracking). See Google's Privacy Policy.
• Formspree, which delivers website form submissions to our email inbox
• Netlify, which hosts this website
• Email, phone and invoicing tools we use to communicate with you

Some of these providers may store data outside Canada, including in the United States, where it may be subject to local laws. We may also disclose information when required by law.

Cookies and advertising

Our website uses the Google tag for Google Ads conversion tracking. You can control or block cookies in your browser settings, and manage how Google personalizes ads at adssettings.google.com.

How long we keep it

We keep customer and quote records for as long as we need them to provide service and meet tax and accounting requirements (usually up to 7 years for invoices). Enquiries that don't turn into a job are deleted within 24 months.

Keeping it secure

We use reasonable safeguards to protect your information, including password-protected accounts and limited access. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we take care to protect what you share with us.

Your choices and rights

You can ask to see, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you, or withdraw consent to further contact, at any time. Contact us using the details below and we'll respond within 30 days.
